Black and white photo of the southwest corner public square, sign " Flying Circus Lake Shore Park July 8 ", in center. Sign on lamp post reads " US Route 66 " The square is paved with brick paving bricks. Sign on one store reads F. W. Woolworth Co. On another building it reads Barth's Clothing Co. In the old Kirby archade the Grand Theatre is in operation. The Concrete " Pie " is in the center of the square with street car tracks making the circle. There are automobiles parked on the square.

There is a good view of the concrete '' Pie " which occupied the center of the square. The square is paved with paving bricks. The street car tracks go around the "Pie" There are two electrilc street cars on the square at this time. There is controlled automobile parking on the square. At the northwest corner of the square is Heer's, Baker building, and the Lander's building. As we go across Boonville Ave. At the northeast corner of the square there is the Nathan Clothing Co, the Electric Theatre in the corner, Rep's store, the Holland Building. Going across St. Louis Street we have the Holland Bank Co. and Levy Wolf clothing store.
